EXCELLENT READ

When I bought the first book in this series I instantly fell in love with it so I went straight out to buy the next one. I fell in love with that too but the problem was Ive had to wait for over 8 months for this book! Luckily the wait was worth it! This book takes us back instantly into the world of Meredith Gentry without too much of a struggle but you get into the book so well you end up feeling that it ends too soon! Most likely a clever plot by the publishers! This book brings the mystery, suspence, back-stabbing politics and of course magic from the two previous books and makes a completely new story. We have Meredith once again sleeping with her guards in the hope to get pregnant but with an added twist to it this time! Also we have her returning to the Unseelie court which brings the reader plenty of information on court politics and the Queen herself! This book in its summary is a fantastic read with all the intensity from the previous books and with plenty new twists to keep the reader on their toes. Although you could read this book on its own and enjoy it you would probably benefit from buying the 2 previous books for background information and also just to enjoy. All there is left to say is BUY THIS BOOK AS ITS AN EXCELLENT READ.

Great read - Not a stand alone though

I found Laurells work last year with a Kiss of Shadows. I finished that and went straight out and bought Caress of Twilight. Then I found Anita Blake. I love all of Laurells books, some more than others, (The Laughing Corpse can be a bit nerve wracking, and I miss the usual characters in Obsidian)but they all stand above a lot of other writers, as books than can be read again and again because of the characters. Seduced is more of the same but with a word of warning - This is not a stand alone book and seems to finish early compared to her others. To enjoy it at its fullest read it in sequence.

I dont usually go overboard with books... well mayabe sometimes... but buy this book! even if you havent read the others this is a great place to start. This one follows Merry back to the Seelie court... all pretentions of her being a dectective have dissappeared and this book is just about the fey, thier back-stabbing, sadistic but sexual politics. Theres a great scene where rhys confronts his fears, where Andais shows how truely sadistic and unhinged she actually is and where it becomes very very clear whos merrys heart belongs too. Theres also a duel, some very erotic scences and Merry shows us some backbone towards the end of the book! In this book we get introducted to other guards adair and amatheon may be ones to watch in the next book. The interesting part of this book is Andais herself, you see a little more of her in this book , but you also see another softer side... well as soft as a masocist can be! I seriously recommend this book! Buy it, it is well worth the read. Theres a reason LK hamilton fans love her books because you never know whats in the next chapter and theres always questions at the end that leave you waiting for the next book!
